Our shipping rates reflect
what the carriers charge us. The rates vary depending
on the size and weight of the bottles being shipped,
e.g., champagne bottles are heavier than wine bottles,
so they cost more to ship. The shipping tables at
the right will give you a good idea of what the shipping
charges are but there may be some variance (if a
case is mixed wine and champagne, say. Or if a case
contains some half bottles and some full bottles)
Our shipping charges include
handling and packaging. California State residents
are subject to Sales Tax, currently 8.5%. All wines
are sold in California and title passes to the
buyer in California. We make no representation as
to the
rights of anyone to import wine into any state
outside California. The buyer is solely responsible
for shipment
of wines. By placing an order, you authorize us
to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier
to deliver
your order where you want it delivered. Wines may
be sold and delivered only to persons who are at
least
21 years of age. In placing your order, you represent
to us that you are at least 21 years of age, and
the person to whom your wine will be delivered is
also
at least 21 years of age. When your alcoholic beverages
are delivered, the person receiving delivery will
be required to show identification proving that he
or
she is at least 21 years of age.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and,
on premise, Interlink ATM debit cards. San Francisco
delivery services available Monday through Friday,
10:00 to 5:00. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.,
7 days a week. We have checked all prices for accuracy.
However, mistakes occur, and the in-store price(s)
will prevail. Items are limited to stock on hand.
We make no claim in regard to the rights of non-California
residents to receive shipments of wine and/or spirits
into their specific county or state. If you are in
doubt on this matter, please contact your local governing
bureau or agency before ordering. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED
BY LAW.
