Krug Champagne Tasting
Our tasting with Champagne Krug at the Presidio Golf Club
was a rousing success! Our customers got to try a wide range of the marvelous
Krug products with an assortment of delicious appetizers. Some of us
even dusted off our best duds for the occasion.
As a champagne producer, Krug is in a class by itself, as those who
were lucky enough to participate in our tasting found out. The rich and
round, multi-vintage Grand Cuvee was smashing. Exploring the amazing
differences between the 1989 and 1988 vintages was fascinating, and the
Rose was, as always, stunning. The special surprise treat was the 1981
Krug Collection bottling, which shows just how much life these great
champagnes have!
All in all, a splendid time was had by all!
